HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
Arrangements have been made for accommodations during the time of the Profession in Perspective conference in September at the President Hotel. A series of rooms have been block booked at this hotel for the early September period.
Standard accommodation (single occupancy) is available at a rate of 1120 UAH per night (1 USD$=7.70 UAH as of July 10, 2009), including applicable taxes. A daily breakfast buffet is included in the cost of the room rate.

LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
Conference participants are responsible for their own transfers to and from Borispil Airport and the Hotel. Taxis are available for hire at the airport and the standard transfer cost from the Airport into the center of Kyiv is approximately $50 USD (payable in US funds or hryvnnia (local Ukrainian currency). Local arrangements will be in place to transport conference participants from the Hotel to the conference site over the course of the gathering. Details shall be provided to participants upon registration at the conference in Kyiv, as well as posted upon the website in late August.VISA REQUIREMENTS
Participants are encouraged to contact the Ukrainian Embassy or Consular Office located within their given country to obtain details respecting specific visa requirements.
As of the posting of this website, visas were not required for citizens of the following countries entering as tourists for a period of up to 90 days: member countries of the European Union, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Canada, the United States, the Principality of Andorra, the Vatican, the Principality of Monaco, the Kingdom of Norway, the Republic of San Marino, Japan, Mongolia, as well as the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (except Turkmenistan).
For those participants who require a visa for entry into Ukraine, the Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine shall prepare a formal letter of invitation to be submitted as part of the visa application process.
